Her Life
January 31
Dearest,
We know that you are aware of the various steps we imortalise your evergreen memory.  In addition to the endowments in your memory, Daddy is engaged in the spirited efforts to write and publish many Nunmer One BestSeller novels to raise the required capital to float an everlasting Foundation in your name.  He has completed and published seven that are already available online, and he is very busy working on others.  God uses your thoughts to strengthen and energise him for the daunting tasks of writing and publishing these books. The act also energises him and strengthens his body and soul.
You are aware of your sons doing well in their chosen path in life.  We are all happy because we are sure of your being in your everlasting joy.
We know that you are forever present with us.
Remain blessed.
Lekan, Ifedayo, and Oluwafikayomi

My Memoir on My Darling Wife Princess Dr. Mrs. OLUYEMISI BAMIDELE SANNI (Nee Aletan)

BIOGRAPHY OF PRINCESS DR. MRS. OLUWAYEMISI BAMIDELE SANNI (NEE ALETAN)

March 17, 2021
On the 6th of August 1965, when Mama Esther Idowu Aletan, wife of Pa Joseph Oladapo Aletan of Arapate Compound Imesi-Ile, gave birth to her fourth daughter, little did the people realize that an icon had entered the Aletan family. The father, Pa J.O. Aletan, was so excited by the birth of his fourth daughter in succession, that he bought an alarm clock to commemorate her birth.  The girl-child was Christened Oluyemisi Bamidele Aletan on the 8th day.

Little ‘Yemisi had her early education in many primary schools because of her father’s constant transfers. She later completed her primary education at AUD, Ogbon-Agbara, Ile-Ife. She attended the prestigious Our Lady’s High School Ile Ife between 1976 and 1981. Her craving for knowledge saw her proceeding to the then Oyo State College of Education Ilesa, now Osun State College of Education, Ilesa,  where she obtained her NCE in 1986. Between 1989 and 1992, she pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) Program at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where she laid the record of being the first and the only graduate in the First Class(Honors) Division in Language Arts Education. She obtained her higher degrees, M.Ed. and Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.) in Adult Education, from the University of Ibadan, The first and the Best University in Nigeria.
A very Industrious and enterprising lady, despite her graduating in the First-Class Honours division from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, she did not allow her inability to secure a white-collar employment dampen her morale. She ventured into petty trading and lolly (hygienic lolly) production before she secured the position of a class teacher at Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan in 1999. In 2011, she transferred her services to the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo, as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Adult and Non-Formal Education. She had risen to the position of Senior Lecturer and had prepared her Curriculum vitae for the promotion to the position of Principal Lecturer before her sudden transition to glory.
A mother of two boys - Prince Ifedayo Sanni and Prince Oluwafikayomi Sanni - she was a doting mother and wife, always ready to sacrifice everything for her family, her relatives, friends, neighbours, and colleagues.  Until her transition to glory, she was a devoted doting wife to Prince Professor Lekan Sanni, her darling husband.  She was also a very active member of the Methodist family- Methodist Church Bodija Ibadan. She came, she fought gallantly, conquered and enjoyed a triumphant exit.
May God grant her eternal rest in His blossom. Amen
