Oneta Lanell Richeson, age 91, died on Tuesday April 16, 2019 in Vista, California. From her birth in Oklahoma, on April 29, 1927 to her death on Tuesday she nourished people around her with love, faith, and kindness. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. Oneta grew up on a farm spending most of her time in the house working with her mother. She retired from General Dynamics after over 25 years and could still recite airplane part codes in her final days. Preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Gladys Hunter, her husband Willie Kenneth Richeson, her grandson JR Sartuche, her brother in law Henry Rieger and her niece Cynthia Rieger-Erie. Survived by her sister Ellen Elizabeth Rieger, brother Neal Hunter, and sister in law Marty Hunter, children Sandra Lanell Gazelka and Sue Ellen Richeson, grandchildren Dale Gazelka, Kenneth Gazelka, Joseph Sartuche, and Jesse Sartuche, nephew Craig Henry Rieger, great nieces Ashely Barrett and Jessica Erie, great nephew Craig Henry Rieger Jr., 12 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, numerous cousins and friends. She led by example. There was never a job too large or too small that she would not tackle. She will be missed by family and many friends.
