Ganny! In a few days, it will mark 15 years since you have been gone from me. You were my best friend, my everything. You meant so much to me, still do. Having to navigate life without you is hard. You were so kind, never judged, and cared for everyone. I still remember coming to your house and seeing newspaper clippings of other people’s children/grandchildren in your home bc you were so proud of their accomplishments as if they were blood relatives of yours. I strive to be like you. In every way to me, you were perfect. Having to lose you at such a trying time in my life taught me so many lessons. I want you to know that I am okay.
