Opple Lugene Adcock, 81, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at her home.
A native of Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Cleveland Lewis Jones and Emily Louise Overby. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and retired from Universal Healthcare.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2016 at Providence Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Pittman and Rev. Sam Brewer. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Judy A. Huff (David) of Oxford, Barbara A. Wilson (William) of Youngsville, Jane Adcock of Oxford, a sister, Pam Lester of Virginia, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Newton Adcock, a sister, Lillian Vaughan, three brothers, Warren, Ryland and Johnnie Jones and a grandson Jeffrey Wayne Huff.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 from 12:30-2:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church and at other times at the home of David and Judy Huff.
