Orice Lee Froedge (90) went to be with his heavenly father on August 23, 2023. He was a resident of Hoover, AL for 47 years. He was born in Edmonton, KY and a Korean War veteran serving with the United States Army (honorable discharge). He attended Hunter Steet Baptist Church. He was an alumnus of Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Lee had a long-distinguished career with American Liberty EMC, as Vice-President of Claims. Lee will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He had the gift of gab, never met a stranger, and had a tremendous sense of humor. 

He leaves behind his three children Kenneth Lee Froedge (Becky), James Allen Froedge, and his daughter Leesa Anne Thompson, his significant other, Susan White and stepson Eric Warner (Kim), along with his six grandchildren; Brittany Thompson Wood (Allen), Colin Lee Thompson, Hannah Joy Froedge, Rachel Elizabeth Froedge, Matthew Warner, and Arden Grace Warner.  He is predeceased by his parents, Matilda Anne Ferguson Froedge and John Alex Froedge and four brothers and a sister: Ralph, Harold, Elton, Goldena Davis and Don. 

He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
