Osarumwense was a dear classmate at UDSS in the 1980s. He was so gentle and kind to everyone. And his sweet smile and twinkling eyes warmed every space he occupied. I am so sad to hear that you are gone my brother. May you shine your light wherever you are. We will meet again.

There are certain people on earth that brings a certain vibrant vibe to the table whenever you are around them, and I can definitely say your energy always brought a very tremendous fulfillment whenever you were around.

Always full of life and always seemed to be in control of whatever the outcome was forging ahead. Even through your illness, you still hung in there and fought a great battle, showing us all exactly how to be tenacious and that our daily struggles was minimal.

I always admired your ferocious approach in the business world and how you made things happen by always being in motion and moving with tenacity.

Thank you for all the great advise over the years. Your presence on earth will definitely be missed, but you will always resonate in our hearts through your teachings, your charisma and the joy you brought to us all.

Rest in Paradise my dear brother. Heaven just gained a new one. Halla at the rest of the crew over there for me. I know you’re in good company. God Bless!!!

I am deeply hurt and gravely saddened to speak at this Service of Songs held in honor of our dear ex-student, Osarumwense Valentine Idah.
Osarumwense was genuinely kind, warm hearted, well liked and highly valued by his peers, his teachers and myself. He offered selfless love and utmost respect to his family, friends and associates during the course of his short life - a little over four and a half decades. His humble, quiet ways, his respectful manners and his warm smile won over many hearts including mine. I am very proud of what he was rather than who he was.
Professionally, he was an Engineer with high ethical values. In the home front he was a very loving son, a brother, an uncle and a cousin. A dearly cherished friend to his buddies. He was highly respected, loved and treasured by his teachers and myself. Osarumwense was one of my UDSS children.
In the last year his health gradually deteriorated. He endured his pains courageously. God came to his rescue. May his gentle soul rest in Perfect Peace. His loss is irriplaceable. His love has left an indelible imprint in our memories.
There is no good bye from me Osarumwense - you will always be in my heart.

Sending my deepest condolences on behalf of me and my family. Uyi, I know you were very close with your brother and it's an unimaginable pain. The times we interacted, Osa was always a cool bredran. May he sleep well.
