On July 22, 2014, God dispatched an angel from Heaven to earth to escort Otis home to be with Him and receive his crown of glory.

A celebration of life service was held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the First Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Gary Lewis, Pastor and Rev. Hawthorne Reed, officiating.

Interment followed immediately afterwards in the County Line A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery.

I light this candle for you because you were one cousin that would give a person your shirt off your back . You were a pilliar to Union Springs. You will be deeply missed but god needed an angel and chose you so rest on Otis cause god loves you the most.
