I knew Capt Tanwar first as Chief Officer and then as Master in Andromeda and later Seaworld. If you wanted the unvarnished truth you went to him. I fondly remember last when he came to a seminar I had arranged in Pune and we had a dinner together. Shipping needs more like you. RIP.

नीरज के लिए कुछ कहना सूरज को दीप दिखाना जैसा होगा । एक सरल और खुश मिज़ाज व्यक्ति हर समय मदद के लिए तैयार रहता था । एक बहुत पुरानी बात है पर मुझे कल जैसी लगती है। मेरी एक सहेली को insurence के काम में मुशिकल आ रही थी तो मैंने सोचा एक से भले दो और मैं अपनी सहेली के साथ office गयी । यह बात चित्रा ने शायद नीरज को बता दी थी और हमारे पहुंचने से पहले नीरज वहाँ मौजूद था और चुटकियों में सारा काम करवा दिया ।
यह नीरज का प्यार और सम्मान का रिश्ता था । नीरज जिन्हे प्यार करता था उन्हे तकलीफ में नही देखना चाहता था या यूूँ कहूं कि वो जिसे प्यार करता था उस के पास चला गया ।
तुम जहाँ हो खुश रहो ।
