Dear father,

I will always remember that warm embrace, that assurance, that comfort that you always gave me of being there. Through the good and bad times, you were like our rock.  There will never be another one to replace you in our hearts; 

• Was it teaching us Yoruba with the accents?
• Was it the evening lessons of Queen’s English? 
• Was it the nights pouring over the Encyclopedia checking for the correct spellings and pronunciations of words?

Our first teacher and life coach. We cherish your memories, your calm mien.  Your unhurried approach to life and your sense of contentment with little or none. We will always remember you with great love and awe that God entrusted us to your care. You did your bit and it's time to return home.

Thank you, father, for all you were.
