To Aunt Sue

This is my desire:

That you are at peace.

That you are in a better place.

That where you are is more beautiful than where I am.

This is my gratitude:

My dad was blessed to have you love him for so well and so long.

I am blessed for the gift of Sadiq and Amina.

This is my discovery:

You played a vital role in who I am today.

Certain traits, I could only have gotten from you - my love for batchelors chicken soup, my dislike for people showing up unannounced.

This is my reality:

The world is incomplete with you not in it.

I took it for granted that I would always have you.

From Muti, with love

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi roji'un (From Allah we emanated and to Him, we shall return).

All glory and adoration belong to the Almighty Allah. It is never easy hearing the death of a loved one, but death is inevitable as Almighty said in the Holy Quran that ‘’every soul shall taste death”.

O’ Allah, forgive our mother (Mrs. Sidikat Susan Omotosho) and elevate her station among those who are guided. Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive her, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for her the grave and shed light upon her in it.

May Almighty Allah grant PDG Kamoru Omotosho, family members and the Rotary family the fortitude to bear the loss.

May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings and grant her Al-Janat fridous.
Amin!

Rest on PAG Susan!

The demise of PAG SUSAN OMOTOSHO is a big shock to the Rotary Family of District 9110 and especially to us, the Rotary Club of Ikoyi. PAG SUSAN was a very passionate, dynamic and outstanding Rotarian at the club, district and regional levels. She was truly an asset to the district and the Rotary Club of Ikoyi. She was an inspiration, a mentor and a mother figure to us. She was a warm and hospitable person. We felt we were in our own homes whenever she hosted us for board meetings, Council of Past Presidents meetings and all kinds of ceremonies. Her transition is so painful. We sorely miss her. May her soul rest peacefully in the good Lord's bosom.

From Allah we emanated and to him we shall return.

Its incredible that PAG SUSAN SIDIKAT OMOTOSHO has departed this world. All glory still belong to the Almighty.

A true Rotarian, disciplinarian, a woman of few words and meaningful contribution and an humanitarian to the core.

May Allah Forgive her shortcomings and grant her Al-Janat. Amen!

It's Indeed painful, but who are we to question the will of Allah who created Death and Life, that he may try which of us is best in deed: and He is exalted in Might, Oft-forgiving.

May Allah grant PDG Kamoru Omotosho, family members and the Rotary family the fortitude to bear this painful and irreparable lost.

Adieu PAG Susan!

PAG Susan Omotosho.Words at this moment will surely fail me in the sense that I will be unable to find the type of adjective to qualify whom you were, how you impacted on peoples lives
Your entire life was about service to humanity .
Coupled with the fact that you exemplified your self as a lover of process in all that you did for each and everyone of us at Rotary Club of Ikoyi.
No wonder you were referred to as Mama Rotary.
Your support for your husband and our Club cannot be quantified.
You live a good life.
Yes we must mourn you bc you did not inform us that you were leaving so soon.
But we all know that our Almighty Allah will grant you peace in his Kingdom.
We shall surely miss you.
Wow where will we hold our usual Past President meetings.
Who will fete us with those sumptuous meals again which you freely gave just to encourage us to be serious Rotarians.
Your doors were always wide open.
Who will attend to me and my family at Kamorras Hospital .
Your dedication to duty has no comparison.
Sun ree ooo.
May Allah grant you Aljanah Fridau.
Tafa Zibiri-Aliu.

Tribute to Mrs Sidikat Omotosho

“Every should shall taste death” says the Quran. Death is therefore a necessary end but when it comes to those we love like Sidikat Omotosho it feels our heart with pain and sorrow not only because we will miss her good company physically but also her very immeasurable contribution to human society .
Sidikat was a Nurse who committed her life to caring for others. He was a Rotarian who imbibed the ideal of service above self in all her ways. A wife and mother of inestimable support to her loving husband Kamoru and her adorable children.
Now our hope is that she rest in peace knowing that she did all that she could. Even though Sidikat has gone before our eyes she will forever remain in our heart and in our love.
Our condolences go to her husband ,Dr Kamoru Omotosho, the President of Lekki Muslim Ummah, the children and all the members of the Ummah.
May Allah overlook her sins , grant her Alajanah Firdaus , and comfort the family she left behind

God have mercy and grant our dear PAG Susan Omotosho eternal rest in your bosom. My heart aches to hear the sad news but no one questions the act of God. She was a great Rotarian. The entire Rotary Club of Ikoyi will miss her resourcefulness in the club’s strategic planning and annual budgeting meetings. She was very resourceful in need assessment. She was very systematic in the process of determining and addressing needs. Every year, Rotarians converge in her office to plan ahead. Madam Susan Omotosho, the amiable wife, partner and companion of our PDG Omotosho, we will miss you dearly.

Just maybe I can find the right words....
Rotn Susan was just a bunch of inspiration to me. She's a woman of few words but ready to talk life into anything given to her.
A super dedicated wife, mother, Rotarian and mentor to many... Till it's excellently done...she's not stopping.
She choose me while still a Rotaractor to work in her PETS team and till date...it remained the best I've seen.
Thank you for the kind welcome into Rotary Ikoyi together with PDG Omotosho.
I can only pray for Allah's comfort for the family you left especially your dear husband.

Take your rest in God till we meet again
