I REMEMBER WHEN...............
I remember when I first attended the RCCG Living Spring Miracle Center; it was this one particular Sunday when I was leaving the church to go home, took me by the hand and led me back into the church to give me a second warm welcome.
Pastor Agatha who was then called "Agatha Dark" ; and, I remember her looking at me and saying to me to call me "Agatha dark." for we had 2 Agatha's in the Church, Agatha Light & Agatha Dark,
It seemed, like from the beginning of being a new RCCG born babe in" CHRIST"; I was face with so many petty challenges. Pastor Agatha along with Pastor Margaret took me under their wings and kept me protected and out of "Harms way". They changed many of my "SPIRITUAL PAMPERS", and when I would fret, . (I would look at that bright orange nail polish on her finger nails) as she pointed her finger at me in love she would remind me that all would be well.
I remember how she always shared a stick of chewing gum from her pack of gum with me. It may seem like nonsense to some but to me I will cherish those moments forever.
I remember she and I use to do Evangelism work in the community, and I remember how zealous she was to be used as an instrument of Almighty God to win Souls for Christ. One household at 5820 Samson Street the Father ( now decease), His Daughter & her friend were saved on that day.
We would knocked on every door in the surrounding community, even the Drug dealers doors (unknowingly).
I remember us ministering to a mentally deranged woman on the corner who is now walking with a stable mind .
I remember when Pastor Agatha prayed, it felt like it was a sweet breath of fresh air that was always surrounding you.And once she prayed for you, this made a person excited, making them want to be ignited with that same "HOLY GHOST FIRE" that she had.
I remember when Pastor Fumi laid hands on" Agatha Dark" and on that day She became" Pastor Agatha"& how she was given the assignment to be the Pastor @ 919 North Broad Street.which was then called the "One Hour Church."
I remember when Pastor Agatha had her 1st Anniversary at her church and how the Homeless men were at her beck and call. I remember how one of the Guys could SING!!!!! And he sang to the Glory of GOD at that dinner.
I remember that some of the most endearing , confidential things that I told her about my personal life, that I know she just prayed about it , and never said a mumbling word to anybody but GOD about my troubles; and I believe that she took them with her.
I remember being in the "School of Disciples" with her and how she was the Treasurer, and how she was on target with everything and she definitely took care of business, in making sure that we had all of our materials on time.
I watch her raise her Sons and kept them groomed Spiritually and Physically. I remember how one of her sons wanted to play the Keyboard and was training himself to perfection!
I remember one time when we went on a Ministers retreat and how Pastor Margaret , She and I shared a room together I remember how our early morning prayers at the retreat carried the "Dew Drops of the Morning" in the prayers uttered out of her mouth.
Oh I could go on and on and on................. However, there is not enough space to write my memories.
