I met Nip at an eary age when she moved from Lone Oak to Hogansville. We became good friends immediately, because we lived in the same neighborhood. We went to elementary school together for a while, but my best memories are when we became teenagers. As we grew older, we begin to be close friends along with my other best friend Phyllis Booker. Me, Phyllis, Nip and my ex-husband Phillip Gamble were like peas in a pod. We were always together laughing at the jokes that Phyllis use to tell. Rev. Carol lynn Cameron was one of our good friends too, but she graduated from High School before we did and we on to college a  few years before us. Nip and I played basketball in high school together. We had some of the most fun times when we were on the team. We were always laughing about something we did. One thing in particular that I know she rememberered was that I was scared of granddaddies, thats what I called them, but they are better known as Daddy long legs. Whenever we talked she would remind me of the time when we were walking home from school, she pretended to have one in her hand, so I started running as fast as I could go and I tried to jump across a branch of water, but I had on this a-line skirt that wouldn't allow my legs to stretch across it so, I fell into the water. OMG it was hilarious.  I was so scared and tickled at the same time and everyone walking home with us that day were in tears laughing so hard at me. that's just one of the the things that I remember about Nip, there are many, many more memories that I will forever hold dear to my heart, especially naming my son Taurus Ravonne Gamble. I remember the day she came to our house with that name, like it was yesterday. RIP (NIP) I will miss you. Love, Your friend, Constance
