BIOGRAPHY OF LATE PASTOR JULIUS OLATUNJI MAJEKODUNMI
Late Pastor Julius Olatunji Majekodunmi was born on the 22nd March, 1954 at Agege, Lagos. The Majekodunmi family, to which he belonged, is a direct descendant of the legendary Owu Warrior, Adubi (of the Ogun Adubi fame) from Adubi’s Compound, Ago Owu, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Pastor Julius Majekodunmi started his secondary school education at Orally Secondary School, Accra, Ghana and later finished at Lisabi Grammar School, Abeokuta in 1972. At Lisabi Grammar School, he represented the school in Literary and Debating competitions, and won laurels for the School.
Between 1974 and 1978, Pastor Majekodunmi studied Business Administration at the prestigious Bromley College of Technology and Hammersmith Rewet London College, both in the United Kingdom. He also obtained a Diploma Certificate in Journalism from the Institute of Journalism, London.
After his educational sojourn in the United Kingdom, he returned back to Nigeria in 1980 and performed the mandatory National Youth Service in 1981.
Pastor Majekodunmi started his working career with Brian Munro Limited, Apapa, Lagos, as Product Manager in 1982 and was later posted to Jos as Branch Manager. Pastor Julius Majekodunmi got married to his sweet heart, Sister Motunrola Majekodunmi in 1985 and their relationship was blessed with children they nurtured in the way of the Lord.
Between 1993-1995, he also attended the University of Jos, Plateau State, where he bagged a National Diploma in Christian Religion & Biblical Studies.
In pursuit of greener pasture, he moved to Mattlig Ventures, Jos, as an Executive Director. He was in this capacity, when he received the call of God in 1999 to serve in His vineyard.
In 2004, he was ordained a Pastor of the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries at the Prayer City, Ogun State.
In furtherance of the course of the gospel, Pastor Julius (as he was fondly called) served the MFM Ministries in various capacities both within and outside Nigeria. He had at various times served in Lokoja (Kogi State), Calabar (Cross Rivers State), Port Harcourt (Rivers State) Lagos State, Benin Republic, and Holland (Netherlands).
He was until his translation to glory, the Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries, Lagos Region 25,Morogbo, Lagos State.
Pastor Julius Majekodunmi attended various schools of Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministry, amongst which is the prestigious MFM School of Ministry.
Pastor Julius was one man with a big heart for God and great compassion for his fellow man. He was an embodiment of love, humility, and dedication to duty.
In his life time, Pastor Julius was acknowledged as a loving Father, Brother, Teacher, Friend, Mentor and Pastor by many.
Daddy, we shall no doubt miss your doting fatherly presence, care and love. We love you but God loves you most.
