Denrele's death came to me as a very rude shock. Truly, I have all these while looking forward to a day we would meet and share our very good momories of secondary school life.Alas! this would never be again. There is no doubt, he will be deeply missed by all our mates at Victory High School, Ikeja.
When we started the Old Students Association, his sister, Moradeun came and gave us his goodwill message and we all look forward to a reunion.
Well, let us all take solace in God: from who we all come and will definitely return. I pray for the repose of his gentle soul. I also pray that God will grant the family the fortitude to bear the irrepairable loss.
Denrele, we miss you so dearly. Good night, dear friend

Oh this just came to me as a very big shock. I only heard yesterday about the untimely departure of Denrele from one of our school mates who currently live in Atlanta Georgia. I am Dr Daniel Oyetayo Kenomore currently leaving in London UK. I started the same secondary school in 1972 with Denrele and we finished together in June 1976. I have since then not been able to set my eyes on him. He was indeed one of my very close friends with whom we played a lot of football together. I can still vivdly recall that he was always very accomondating of everyone always very cheerful and jovial although i still remeber he was one of our classmates that started the nickname "oversylabus"., which later stuck to me like a magnet -all because of my affinity to maths and the sciences. We always laugh over all these as normal jokes. I also recall that he had a sister then I think by name Moradeun Opeifa who also finished with us at VHS. It is so sad never to have been able to meet this gentleman again before his death. I am sure many of our other colleagues are still oblivious of the sad situation. I can only wish for God almighty to grant his soul a peacful rest. I pray that God will also grant all his family members the fortitude to cope with the sad evnt. Adeu my good friend. Rest in Peace.
