CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO THE FAMILY OF PASTOR CHUKS EZEDIARO, ON BEHALF OF TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL OGUTA OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION (TOBA) WORLDWIDE:
TO THE EZEDIARO FAMILY,
On behalf of Trinity High School Oguta Old Boys Association (TOBA) Worldwide, I write to convey our sympathy to you on the death of your brother, father, son and husband, Pastor Chuks Ezediaro, a 1979 graduate of Trinity High School Oguta. The death of a person is always a painful experience for the bereaved, more so that of a dear brother, father, son and husband.
We thank our Almighty God for raising up Chuks and using him to positively inspire others and impact on their lives. Chuks was very popular amongst members of the Glorious Trinity 1979 Set and will be very sorely missed. He was a good and simple man, kindhearted and always there for people, always ready to listen to the problems of others, advise and proffer solutions. May the Lord comfort his family and grant them the fortitude to bear this great loss.
Although we would all have loved to see Chuks live longer on earth than he did, it was not to be. It was the decision of the Lord God Almighty, his creator to call him home at the fullness of time. Naked we came from our mothers' womb, and naked we will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1:21). Chuks has gone to a better place to be with his maker, a place of no suffering, no pain, no sickness and no disease. The Bible assures us that God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4).
The Bible tells us to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn - Romans 12:15". We the members of TOBA are mourning with you the Ezediaro family as you mourn. We pray that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of all compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God, will comfort the Ezediaro family in this difficult and trying time - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
As you sorrow and mourn the death of a great man, father and husband, may you find strength and comfort in the promises of God as delineated by 1 Thesallonians 4:13-18:
"13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep (the dead in Christ) lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep (the dead in Christ).
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words".
