ForeverMissed

One thing that gives us comfort is that when our Dad will be lowered 6ft below, it will be an "empty box" going down because Dad lived. He spent every ounce of life that was dealt him blessing the people around him, irrespective of color, class, or creed.

Did you meet Dad (I like to call him Pops)? He must have had an advise for you, and if you needed help, he must have showed up for you (sometimes even on his bare feet). He was just too giving... giving of himself. What a heart! What a man!

And if you didn't meet him directly, you sure did meet Pops in the children he raised or the wife he married? I hope we still rep him well today. This memorial is for the man that blazed the trail for the genius you see in us.

We created this memorial so we could collect your testimonials and memories shared with him in one place. We want to celebrate and learn from the life he lived. That's how we'll like to honor his memory; that's what he'd want.

"HeisOk" (acronym from the first two letters of his names) will be forever missed, but I dare say that his passing didn't end a life. No. A new chapter of his life was just flipped to be seen in us whom he poured into.

Thank you for stopping by. Funeral announcement will be posted soon. Live well.
