His Life
October 13, 2012

Pat Martin De Allie affectionately known as 'Rude Boy' was born in Diego Piece. St. Mark's on the beautiful Spiece Isle, Grenada on May 26th 1961 to Christiana De Allie. Pat was beautiful baby and brought great jot to all who saw his smile and laughter. Everybody adored Pat, but none perhaps more than his Grandfather for whom he was named. Martin de Allie. Wherever he was going, Pat had to be there and the bond was stregthened even more when Pat's mom Christine migrated to the United States of America seeking a better life for her beloved Pat who lacked for nothing as Christine worked tirelessly to provide the best for her son and other family back home. Pat's aunt Cilla Downes, assisted his grandfather in parenting him and there also developed a loving relationship between them. She treated him as though he was her own son and until today Pat is seen as a member of the familyand an unbroken bond was created with Cilla's daughter Fay, who became a sister to Pat and who he longed to see and who's here with us today, arriving just in time before Pat went to be with the Lord.
Pat attended the Samaritan Presbyterian primary school and went on to Waltham Junior Secondary and from an early age developed a love for painting or drawing as it is called back home. Pat migrated to New York in the summer of 1984 to join his mother who was happy to finally have her son with her in Brooklyn. He started his career in customer service and he enjoyed it tremedously. This is niot surprising, because of his great personality and his love for helping others. Pat was a fast learner , and even though it was a new enviroment , he learned the ropes well and was promoted , advancing to a supervisory position in his last job at Auto Zone.
Pat loved life. That is not a understatement, because all who knew him would testify to this fact. He had a passion for cars, and that is why he loved working in that field. How many of us remember the Toyota Supra? And that Green Camry that you could hear miles away. Pat loved his music, and combined that love for vars and you would understand why on weekends even if the weather called for rain. Pat would still be cleaning that car and listening to his signature music. His son Kodelle has already started to carry on this tradition. Pat also loved jewelry and his signature gold chain was testimony to this. As was mentioned before. Pat loved painting and was blessed with a natural gift for the art.
Pat is greatly missed , Hes gone but will never be forgotten.
