Today is the 5th anniversary of my mother's passing. Not a day goes by that we don't miss her. It seems like just yesterday she was part of our lives. Now we cherish the memories.

We little knew that morning God was going to call your name In life we loved you dearly In death we do the same It broke our hearts to lose you part of us went with you the day God called you homeYou left us beautiful memories and though we cannot see you,you are always at our sideOur family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again

I am standing by the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sun and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, 'There she goes! Gone where? Gone from my sight - that is all.
