Hobbies

Pat had an artistic streak – throughout her life, she pursued creative hobbies including sewing, quilting, home decorating, and restoring antiques. In recent years she was an avid crafter with a craft room that rivaled any other, and she enjoyed sharing her handmade cards and crafts with family and friends.

Retirement

Upon her husband's retirement, the couple moved back to California and she spent her last three years in Santa Rosa doting on her two grandchildren.

Moves

In Fremont, she became active in the Antelope Hills Homeowners Association and served on its Board of Directors and as President. A later move took her to Wexford, PA, where she became a devoted Pittsburgh Penguins fan.

The Library

Pat had a lifelong love of books. She became involved with the Friends of the Harvard Public Library where she helped out with the annual book sale in additon to volunteering at the Library itself. She was proud to work as an Assistant Librarian in Harvard, where she worked until her move to Fremont, California in 1992.

The couple moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she supported her husband’s graduate studies working in Human Resources at ETC Corporation. In 1970, she moved to Massachusetts, where she was a 15-year resident of the town of Harvard. She spent her time with her young family and volunteering in her children's schools.

Pat was born in Indiana, and she graduated Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio in 1961. In Akron, she met her husband Robert and they were married in 1965 at the Firestone Park Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Priscilla Mae “Pat” (Boling) Rottmayer passed away peacefully after a courageous journey with breast cancer with her beloved husband Robert at her side. Pat leaves behind a family that loves and adores her. Her son, Michael and his wife Agnes ; daughter Julie and husband Paul ; two grandchildren Amelia and Julian; brothers Norman and Raymond; sister-in-law Sue; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Stella Mae and father Willdering Monroe, and her sister Ruth.

Final arrangements handled by Daniels Chapel of the Roses in Santa Rosa, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one of Pat’s preferred charities: the American Cancer Society, Redwood Empire Food Bank, or American Diabetes Association.
