Patricia A. Reitz, 74, of Boalsburg, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at her daughter's residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 5, 1942, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Dean Kenneth and Dorothy Ann Knisely Wagner Sr. On March 28, 1959, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg, PA, she married Ronald H. Reitz, who preceded her in death on April 10, 2008.

She is survived by six children, Ronald H. Reitz, Jr. and his wife, Janine A. MacGowan, of Deering, NH, Melissa A. Liles and her husband, Michael, of Redlands, CA, Robert A. Reitz, Cheryl L. Markley and her husband, Douglas, Glenn L. Reitz and Michael A. Reitz, all of Boalsburg; three siblings, Helen Grennan and her husband, Alex "Butch", of Andover, OH, Charlotte "Joey" Mills and her husband, Kenneth R., of Painesville, OH, and Robert Charles Wagner and his wife, Joanne, of Lewistown, PA; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Jessica, Amanda, Cameron, Sarah, Kimberly, Madyson, and Alivia; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Jace. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Frederick K. Reitz in 1972 and a brother, Dean Kenneth Wagner, Jr. in 1951.

Patricia attended State College High School, class of 1960.

In addition to being a military wife who traveled extensively with her husband, she was employed by the State College Area School District for thirty years as a Cafeteria Worker, retiring in 2010.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Boalsburg. Patricia was also a member of the Linden Hall Garden Club. In addition to gardening, she enjoyed playing bingo and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
 

Visitation will be from 1 until 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the Zion Lutheran Church, 105 Old Boalsburg Road, Boalsburg. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the church, with the Reverend Brent Book officiating.

Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
