We were all thinking of you on your birthday Thursday. This year on the 15th we visited you and dad to place Lori's ashes near yours. As Danny said, now the three of you are in chatting distance of each other and don't even need technology. Look after each other. Love you all very much.

Love you and miss you.
Love you and miss you.
Another year has passed, another birthday is here without you. Time doesn't take away the pain of missing you. All my love, Cindy
A face that is always on my mind,
A smile I have seen a million times,
Two eyes that would light up the sky at night,
One last battle you could not fight,
The day was long, then night then morn.
We knew that soon you would be gone,
To stay with us you fought so hard,
A million pieces went my heart,
Now a photo I look at to see your smile,
I still keep your number on my speed dial,
But great memories I will always keep with me,
Your love in my heart for eternity,
When I am weary from the burdens I’ve borne,
And the path is unclear and I feel so forlorn,
I remember your loving support was always near,
And your advice made the path ahead seem clear.
P.S. I still don't make my bed everyday, but when I do, I always think of you ;)

The couple on the bench
I added the photo of Mom and Dad with the couple on the bench in their front yard to this memorial site because it depicts not only their togetherness when she was still alive, but also my own memories of the little ceramic figurine statue we had in the house while I was growing up. This was a figurine of a boy and a girl sitting on a bench together, and as a child I always loved playing with it. About a year ago, Mom let me take the figurine home with me as a keepsake. What I didn't know until then was that her Grandma Mavity had given her the figurine just before she and Dad married telling her that the boy on the bench was Wayne and the girl Patti. Now in my own home I see that young couple sitting on the bench every day several times a day and it always makes my heart smile thinking of the two of them.
