Remembrance Mass Patricia Ann Eletto

December 18, 2017

On November 30, 2017, Our Lady of Las Vegas Church held a Remembrance Mass for those who had passed this year.

Patricia was remembered at this Mass.  It was an emotional but beautiful service in her honor!

During the mass Patricia’s photo was shown and when her name was called we brought up a candle with her name placed on it.  It  was then lit with the Advent candle on the Altar then placed on the steps directly in front of the Altar where all the other candles for those who were being remembered were placed.  There was a memorial plaque with the names listed alphabetically but “No Coincidences” Patricia’s name was right on top!.

After the mass we left Patricia’s candle in church to continue to bring light during the holiday season!

Patricia continues to eternally bring light to all of us she LOVED very much!

We wanted to share this loving experience with everyone during this Holiday Season knowing it will just not be the same without Patricia, Pat, Patty….

“Our Dearest Sister and Guardian Angel Patricia”

Always remember……  “Her Loving You”

Missing you...

September 20, 2017

Today is the first birthday in about 10 years where I didn't hear from you.  You always made my birthdays so special.  Bitter sweet for me today without you.  Miss you Pat. Xo

In her own words...

April 19, 2017

Pat sent me an email on June 23rd of last year.  I just wanted to share what she wrote to me because it is so fitting today.  Oh Pat, how I miss you!!!

with bells on my toes

April 10, 2017

It is hard to sum up 30 years of a friendship, 30 years of sharing family traditions and special occasions, soccer games (Russell's), birthday dinners, graduations, weddings, beyond all those days working side by side…

Pat was loyal, dedicated, compassionate, caring, funny, and she could let you know when she disagreed with you…….

She was passionate about many things, mostly people.  Her passion for Billy Joel was trumped by her love of my kids…I attended more than one Billy Joel concert with Pat, but the story she liked to tell was more about my son Rocco than about Billy Joel.

She was proud of my Rachel…she loved that the girls (Danielle and Rachel)  got to be grownups that would sometimes join us for dinner.  Rachel always knew the chef or restaurant  Pat was talking about.  I was always amazed at how Pat got the chef to come out of the kitchen...and how star struck she could be..

She had a special bond with my youngest son, as we truly worked side by side late into the night through my whole pregnancy.  Pat would get a kick out of being able to see Louis move in utero while I sat in a meeting… When Louis was young, if Pat was in the room, he was physically attached to her.  If he couldn't find space on her lap, Louis was undaunted, he just climbed up her back and wrapped himself around her like a stole.  Pat was in her glory…

A year ago in Norah's eulogy I told  the story of the trip the three of us took to Italy.  Norah's health was affecting her ability to get around, even though she still would be insulted if anyone other than I helped her.  Wherever we went though, Pat would be greeted by Italian men offering to help her with her bags, help her on the boat, help her off the boat.  Young and old, the Italian men flocked to Pat's aid.  Pat was beaming. It made Norah absolutely nuts.  As I told the story,  I can still hear Pat laughing out loud….Her laugh was always a joy.

I will miss Pat, I will miss her cards and (lately) her texts for every holiday, but I also know that she will be with me every day, as she will be the best part of Denise: part 2 ( the social worker).

For my beautiful friend Pat

April 7, 2017

God looked around His garden

And He found an empty place

He then looked down upon the earth

And saw your precious face

He put His arms around you

And lifted you to rest;

God' s Garden must be beautiful

He always takes the best.

So He closed your weary eyelids

And whispered " Peace be thine "

Then He took you up to Heaven

With Hands so gentle and kind.

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you

The day God welcomed you home.

My dearest Pat

April 6, 2017

I met Pat in August of 2006. She interviewed me for a part time position in her department at Dealertrack. I remember saying to myself during my interview what a beautiful funny smart woman Pat is. Pat did hire me and I worked for her for 7 years. She was an amazing boss but even a better friend. She had such a beautiful soul and always made time to talk to anyone that needed her advice. I will miss her. God has another beautiful Angel watching over her sisters and friends. RIP my beautiful friend.
