Happy would be 80th mom. I can't beleive it's been 4 years since you left us. I thought of the last time you and I spent a day together today. We went to Outback for lunch, I had a steak and you had French Onion soup. Then we went to see the movie "Venom" and thought it was hilarious. I really miss catching movies with you, which we did a lot over the years. I hope you can see how good your grandchildren are doing.

She has been very missed by me these last 4 years. I am sure she is watching over her family from heaven.
She is very missed by me and by my daughters too. God bless her family.

Dad asks about you everyday
This is a terrible anniversary but the night before was perfect. You made chicken AND meatloaf and we planned Dad’s birthday.

Hey mom the last 3 years have been tough. Karla almost lost her arm in an accident, dad broke his hip, I had a heart attack. But were all still here, going forward every day, and missing your positive attitude and help in everything. Maureen is in medical school and going to be a doctor. Sorry I didn't post on your birthday. I'm going to be 60 next week. But all the magazines say 60 is the new 40. I love you and miss you every day. So does Colleen and Shane and Maureen.

Fernley – Patricia Marilyn (Fenton) Scott, 75, died Friday, February 15, 2019 after a brief illness.
Patricia leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years, Chester Scott, her sons Keith and Kevin Scott, and a daughter, Karla Scott . Daughters in law Rebecca Scott and Colleen Scott. In addition, Patricia leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Shane, Maureen, Savannah, Montgomery, Allison and Jackson. She is survived by her beloved brother and sister in law, Lawrence and Jeannette Ryan, nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Patricia was born and raised in San Francisco, California the daughter of Mervyn Fenton and Virginia Ryan. Patricia graduated from Saint Paul’s High School in San Francisco, Class of 1961. She was always proud of being from San Francisco and the fact that her father was a leader in the Steel Worker's Union during the building of the Golden Gate Bridge. She would often tell her children and grandchildren "This is the bridge your grandfather built".
In the early years of her marriage, Patricia relocated to Missouri and lived with her mother in law Mae Scott while her husband served in the US Army. It was in Lynchburg Missouri that a San Francisco girl found a second home on the farm and a love for preparing the comfort foods that her husband and family would rave about for the rest of her life. After her husband left the Army, Chester and Patricia made their living owning gas stations and automotive repair shops. Patricia loved joining her family on road trips across the United States and fulfilled a childhood dream when she organized a road trip for her family from San Francisco to Anchorage Alaska.
As her children grew and became parents themselves Patricia dedicated herself to taking care of her grandchildren. There was nothing Patricia would or could not do for her grandchildren. She would help with driving to school, activities and sporting events. She would not accept payment for her care stating that it was a privilege to care for her own grandchildren.
Patricia was a lifetime Elvis fan and had the opportunity to see Elvis in concert several times and visit Graceland. She loved taking road trips to San Francisco to visit her brother and his family and her friend since childhood, Sandra Driscoll. She was always up for a trip to Little Lucca, Toto’s pizza or Negri’s. An avid reader she enjoyed reading her entire life. She also enjoyed thrift store shopping, movies and taking pictures at family events. Patricia’s wit and positivity will be missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 10am, February 25, 2019 at Walton’s Funeral Home, 2nd Street, in Reno, NV
