Our beloved Patricia Gail Witkowski (Lohse), of Woodstown, NJ, went to her Lord on August 24, 2020 at the age of 70.
Affectionately known as Patty, she was born in Jersey City, NJ to Loyal and Alice Lohse, and lived in Edison, NJ and Jersey City, NJ with her parents, sister Karen Bulava (Larry) and brother Bob (Patricia) for many years. She liked to travel and lived in Monrovia, Liberia and Caracas, Venezuela, where she and Vincent adopted their two daughters. Patricia proudly obtained both Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Education from Rowan University. She retired as an elementary school teacher, spending her last years as an English as a Second Language instructor within the Bridgeton, NJ school district.
Patricia and her darling husband Vincent celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this month, though she knew him almost from birth, as their mothers had been best friends since high school. Her two daughters, Cristiana Marielena Campbell and Alyson Maritza Ward were the joys of her life. She was the proud grandmother of Camilla and Marisela Gerner, as well as Grayson and Ashton Campbell. Nothing made her happier than their visits, where she got to be silly Grandma. Her two sons-in-law Shawn Campbell and Andrew Ward always brought a smile to her face. Patty was also a loving sister-in-law to James (Jimmy) and Donna Witkowski. She was a loving and ever-goofy Aunt to her nephews, Jess Lohse (Jenell), Jonathan Bulava (Samantha) and niece Erin Spiry (Jesse) and their families.
Her hobbies were cooking, collecting cookbooks and kitchen gadgets, and Country music. Her smile, unending devotion to her family and her silly jokes will be forever missed.
In lieu of flowers, please send your support to Disciples’ Pantry, 149 S Main Street, Asbury Methodist Church, Woodstown, NJ 08098.
