The first time I met Patty Swanson was at a party on the 8th floor of the Landover House in Alexandria, VA in 1965.   The complex name was changed to The Aspen.
 
My Army buddy Nick vonSpaeth was informed that this building was loaded with 300+ Airline stewardess housed conviently near the Washington National Airport (now called the Ronald Reagan National Airport).  What do you think any two single GI's would do given the timing and opportunity of an available 12th floor apartment?
