Patricia R. Zeedyk (Clayton), passed away December 10, 2018. She was 86 years old. Pat was born in Howell, New Jersey on July 15, 1932. She is predeceased by her husband, Roy G. Zeedyk, "Zeek", her brother Daniel Clayton and her parents Marvin and Dorothy Clayton (Case). Pat is survived by her son Roy G. Zeedyk, Jr., and her two sisters Joan M. Cancel and Mary Lou Davison.
Pat grew up in Howell and graduated from Lakewood High School. She took flying lessons and then later joined the Civil Air Patrol after WWII.
After Pat and Roy married, they moved to Illinois with her husband's family for a year where she worked as a phone operator for Bell Telephone Company. When they moved back to New Jersey, she continued to work for Bell Telephone Co. for 10 years. She worked as the Head of Transportation at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory in Plainsboro, New Jersey for 20 plus years where she finally retired from with many fond memories and lots of stories about the shenanigans of the PPPL family because that's what they truly were to her.
After her retirement, she remained a life-long resident of Howell, New Jersey until her passing.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America alzfdn.org in rememberance of Pat.
