This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Pat Sullivan. He touched so many lives with his love and his humor and his passion for all things sports...especially Chicago Sports Teams. Go Bears! Go Cubs! Go Blackhawks! Go Bulls! Go Sox!
Pat was also a huge fan of nature and our National Parks. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to the National Parks Foundation at
http://give.nationalparks.org/goto/Patrick_SullivanPatrick, Pat or PJ was born on December 8,1954. He spent some years in Glenview before the family moved west to Arizona then California then back to Illinois. This is where his love for traveling and moving around began.
He graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 1973. He then attended Milwaukee School of Engineering to learn to become a DJ. From that he moved on to work in many different positions in the hospitality industry. This is when he developed his love for the mountains and Western half of this country.
Anyone who knew Pat, knew his real passion was sports. Especially the Chicago Bears. He lived and breathed all their wins and losses. He also was devoted to the Cubs...well... really...he liked any Chicago Sports Team.
Pat met his wife, Karen in 1988. It was a blind date and, as they say, the rest is history. They married in 1990 and spent 30 years together traveling, moving around the country and having adventure after adventure. They finally settled in Tucson...their little slice of paradise.
Pat was the dad to four fur babies, Killian, Murphi, Gracie and Sullie. He loved his dogs and spent his time making sure they were walked and well cared for.
Although Pat's sudden departure from this life is both sad and shocking, we all know he would want us to remember him with a smile on our faces and a Coors in our hands.
Cheers to you Pat Sullivan on a life well-lived.
