Dear son,

On behalf of my family,I know everyone in Njagi's family has a deep hole in heart after the demise of one of our family member.
He was a legend,he was a humble man full of love, strength and wisdom,he was kind,he was man of people and above all a peace maker.

I love you son, sleep well in heaven. You will live in my heart.

Some truth in life are hard to accept. Mbiuks your memories will never be forgotten! They will always remain with us forever. When our Dad passed on you stepped in and brought us together, to continue with the legacy of loving and caring for one another as our dad had tought us.
You have been a great pillar of Muchiris, you loved us all equally, surely we will miss you. You always call us all every after 3 days just to check on how we are fairing in life, Mbiuks I have no words. May the Lord keep your soul in eternal life.
I can't fit in your shoes but I will try my best to follow your steps.
Dear Lord thank you for our Brother Patrick Njeru Njagi.
To our God our Father be the glory for ever and ever Amen.

Dear dad
Words can't explain the pain and emptiness, can't believe i will no longer hear you call me son,dad or Njagi. You were a true leader full of wisdom a man who was ready to assist anyone. Though you have left behind huge shoes to fill and you had always told me this time would come to be really honest i was not ready but your time here on earth has come to an end. You have left behind three great children that will always make you proud and a wife that will always remind everyone how great you were

Rest in peace dad it is well till we meet again dad

For, "All people are like grass, and all their glory is like flowers of the field; the grass withers and flowers fall, but the Word of the Lord endures forever." And this is the Word that was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25
Only God's will, Word and work are permanent. Biuks regacy will forever be anchored in my heart..he was the last man standing even in the wake of his pain he would find time for a courtesy visit. To condole or to cerebrate with friends .
Rest with angels Baba muthoni

It is well , it is well my sister , it is well family . Words alone cannot say it all but
Njeru my brother rest in Peace , Mbiuks rest in peace bro no more pain , no more weekly dialyses year inn year out , you have fought many many health battles for years mighty and small , which all started with diabetes leading to all other major complications, Bp , kidney failure , leg amputation , to blood vein rapture in brain . Surprisingly you had always fought and won countless times , actually even this time I never ever thought you would loose even when in ICU , you were messi or Ronaldo when it came to throwing comeback surprises locally and internationally (Kenya & in India) , you took whatever life threw to you very positively with lot of determination and pulled back . That will remain the greatest lesson to me bro .
l will miss alot ,alot from you Mbiuks !!!!
your wise counsel , those light moments full of laughter ,the way you called me "man-Njoro" ama "DC", the way you used to call my wife "shiro witu" ooh that soft laughter & beautiful smile...!!!!
I will forever be greatful for so many, many things which you did for me, some of the most memorable being you gave me my first ever Radio cassette player back then which meant sooo much to me as a young man, you groomed me right after highschool as I landed in your place and you molded me , to adulthood /manhood , to marriage , to fatherhood and in joining business world.
And of course I can't forget our twist dance & moves those days , you were a star in dancing floor.
You brought value and added more value in my life and to our family.
Your kindness and generosity knew no boundaries Mbiuks my beloved brother .

As a family your wise counsel in our family meetings will never be forgotten or taken for granted , how you used to teach us our kikuyu culture , you showed us how to slaughter & roast goats & share .
You slaughtered countless goats in almost every family/friends functions .
It was an honour a big honour being your friend , a younger brother and a very close associate and sometimes your driver .
Thanks God for giving us such a wonderful brother.

Rest in eternal peace bro , Mbiuks rest , with No more pain !!.
Till we meet again koma thayu , uromama kwega kuraga !!

To you my Dear sister Loise Njeru take heart and be strong as you have always been and showed us .
I thank God for having you around our late brother in good and challenging times.
I celebrate you for being a strong woman the engine behind my brothers 62yrs in this world, your resilience amaze me , you never disappointed or abandoned your man at any given time in his time of dire need , you always rose to the occasion and performed tasks ahead of you beyond our expectations.

Very very few women could stick and stand with their men or marriage having undergone just a quarter of what you have gone through . many could have thrown towels long time ago but you loise Njeru !! , mama Muthoni !! , Mama-Ian !!, Mama lenny !! You have always Rose above all waves and filled the shoes as a wife/caregiver ,mother , father , sister , grandmother, physician ,helper , church elder , village elder , driver , gym instructor, chairlady , tour guide. therapist etc.

At one time you proved what a man can do , a woman can as well do better , when you chased Nairobi women hospital ambulance which was carrying your dear husband Mbiuks and you never feared or panicked while in traffic jam , you drove zigzag in high speed all the way from Nairobi women's Rongai to Nairobi women's Hurringum , you kept ambulance bumper to bumper , you kept it on toes with full lights on like you had participated in safari rally a yr ago , this was just to make sure nothing happened to your sweetheart behind your back or without your presence and authorisation, you guarded Mbiuks very dearly and very very close to your heart .
Truly you are a living example of what a strong woman or strength of a woman looks like or what it means to be "Mutumia Ngatha"..
I salute you loise Njeru .

I celebrate and enjoyed the many trips and tours you have always organized for our families just to make sure you gave your man a change of fresh air away from home .
My boys Roy , Rey & Gyan will live to tell stories of our two families last vacations in december with Mbiuks in Diani Mombasa , Enkasiti Kitengela and many more.

Loise Njeru , fear not cos
All Our families are totally proud of you from Njerus/Njagis ,Mathagus, muchiris , Gitandus and Mwihanjos and i know even the church for a job well done , standing with your husband in his most trying moments of his life during his sickness , you never abandoned him , instead you abandoned most of your personal commitment (chamas)and opted to be there for my brother.
Anytime Whenever you could accidentally meet loise , many can confess, Mbiuks was not far from the location ,he was either in parking , restaurant or hospital. You were truly Godly joined.
I have no enough words despite this being a big blow to you and to all of us .

I can only say only God who can repay you for the good job you did towards your late husband all through .

Asante sana loise Njeru

A friend, mentor and great uncle who would not hold back to correct my mistakes.
He taught me how to behave like a grown-up even during my time of puberty.
Work ethics were not a compromise and he believed that advanced age was no excuse to take up the task.
I have so much to say about uncle njeru, but l would only end up writing his ideal biography.
A man who stood strong during his deeply trying days of which you wouldn't have seen any sorrow.
It is difficult to accept that you are physically gone, but the valuable time that God gave us together will surely remain unforgettable.
I believe you have fought the fight and finally won the race.
It is well.
May God rest your soul in eternal peace.
Till we meet again "mbiuks"

God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him
and whispered, “Come with Me.”
With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes “The Best”.
RIP  Uncle

My Defender

April 15, 2021
When a tree falls its shade is lost to all the birds, animals and travellers that rested and parched on it.
My tree has fallen, a princess has lost her King, her Hero, her no 1 fan but not her crown, but in its wake he has left a trail of love and Godliness, humility and peace.
My lovely son, dad and friend. Who will be calling me every morning? In the arms of God you rest with no more pain but amazing grace and peace.
I celebrate a life well lived and a heart well loved. Though words are never enough you will always be in my heart.
You knew I loved you, and I will always love you. We will always love you.
Fare Thee well my beloved, till we meet again.
Rest with the angels.
