Life started for Patty Sue (Mencer) Vincent on May 13 1942 at Cherry Hill Central City, Kentucky she was born to Anton and Rena Mencer. Patty was a twin to her sister and best friend Betty Lou (Mencer) Ashby. They were the youngest of seven Children. She had 3 brothers Glendal, Leonard, Kenneth, and another Sister Freda. She loved to play in the woods by their house, on railroad tracks, going Swimming, to friends houses, playing with cousins, and being with Family and Friends, Her very best friend was her twin Sister Betty they were always together they were inseparable. Patty had many wonderful childhood memories. She would talk about the things they would do as children. I loved hearing them. She grew up in Cherry Hill which was a big part of Pattys life. Patty and Betty loved Cherry Hill.
Patty went to school at Bremen Consolidated School, Patty met and had many friends in school. Some of Pattys fondest Memories was Her High School Years.. Patty and Betty was like glue they went everywhere together they were known as the Mencer Twins. They Graduated Bremen School in 1960.. Later in life Patty was always excited about Her Class Reunions She would jump in and get things done send invites She loved meeting up with Her Class Mates.. Patty would talk about Who was Who and laugh at some of the crazy things they done in school and talked about at Patty Class reunions.. I feel like I knew her Friends as well as she did just listening to all her stories.
Patty met her forever Husband. Larry Dwayne Vincent. at Bremen School she would talk about how Larry became a pest he wouldn't leave her alone when they first met. Then that pest became the love of Pattys life. Larry and Patty were married on September 16 1960. Larry and Patty made their first home in Midland Central City Ky. She lived a Happy Wonderful Life with her Forever Husband for 56 wonderful years. There were many places that Larry and Patty would make their home :Nashville Tennessee, Evansville Ind. Baton Rouge Louisiana, Belmont North Carolina was Patty and Betty favorite place to live so many wonderful memories there, Pensacola Florida, and many places in Kentucky then making Her home in Sacramento Ky next door to Her Sister Betty Ashby. Patty had so many wonderful memories with Larry and their Children.

She loved sending out greeting cards, being outside working with her flowers, spending time with her best friend and Sister Betty, mowing grass, taking care of her Mother, making crafts, drawing, painting, decorating for Christmas, taking trips with Larry, going to band shows, working puzzles with Larry, doing things with the Church, going to flee markets, yard sales, Patty always had Larry remolding their home, collecting Avon, talking on the phone, watching her favorite team Ky Wildcats play ball, having family over for BBQ or Holidays, going to Gospel Singing, watching her favorite tv shows, loving her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews, TAKING PICTURES, cleaning the house, playing games (cards, yahtzee) being with Friends and Family. She loved to set and watch it snow, and she loved summer also.
Larry and Floyd Ashby worked for Daniel Construction for many years. Even in their adult years Patty and Betty stayed together. Patty and Betty raised 5 children They were 1 big happy family. Would not have had it any other way.
September 16 1961 Patty and Larry had first daughter Davida Vincent Stewart she was born on their 1st Anniversary. they were living in Nashville TN. Davida was married 2 times She found Her forever love Bryon Edward Stewart in June 1993. She gave Larry and Patty 4 beautiful Grand Children. 1979 Amanda Noffsinger, 1983 Adrian Noffsinger, 1986 Christopher Noffsinger, 1989 Patrick Noffsinger, 2011 Logan Noffsinger 7 Grand Children, Ethan Summers, Adyen Summers, Aaron Noffsinger, Autumn Noffsinger, Charlie Keffer. Paycon Keffer.
December 6 1963 Patty and Larry had second Daughter Monica Vincent Walton they lived in Evansville Ind, Monica was married 2 time she found her forever love Jerry Lynn Walton in September 1989 and gave Larry and Patty 1 beautiful Grandchild 1993 Trevor Walton.
November 24 1966 Patty and Larry had third Daughter Jennifer Sue Vincent. Died November 24 1966.. what a very sad day for Larry and Patty.
Patty was a Wonderful Person cared for everyone, GOD Fearing Woman raised Her Family in Church teaching Her Children GOD, Family, Respect, and Manners was everything. Patty was a gentle Loving Soul, always ready to go beyond to get things that needed to be done, if you needed Patty she would be right there, Patty also had a side you did not want to meet and but if you messed with Pattys Children(and i mean all 5 of us girls ), Grands Children, Great Grand Children, or Family She became a Grizzly Bear. A protector to all. Patty had Family and Friends that loved her and would move the world for her.
