Paul Doran Favaron, 85, died Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, FL, from a sudden diagnosis of AML Leukemia.
Born June 1, 1937, in Shreveport, LA, he was the son of the late Herbert Nicholas Favaron and the late Kathryn Lotspeich Favaron. He was a Senior Master Sergeant/E8 in the US Air Force for 27 years, retiring in 1982 at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL, and a Computer Security Program Manager at Lockheed Martin Specialty Components, formerly GE Neutron Devices Dept., in Largo, FL, retiring in 1997. He had such a love for football and was an original season ticket holder for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 50+ years.
He resided in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area for 60+ years. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Debra Athan (George) of Acampo, CA and son, Richard Favaron (Rita Padilla) of Oakley, CA; three grandchildren, Lindsay Cirelli (Matt), George Athan, Jr. (Nickole), Melissa McClary, and one great-grandson, Caden Cirelli; one brother, James Favaron (Norma) of Maryville, TN, and several brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life service will be held at the home of son, Richard, in Oakley, CA at a later date.
