Paul Lawrence Watts was born January 25, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to Ms. Lula Mae Sanders.He was educated in the Dayton Public System.He relocated to Mt. Vernon, New York in l965 and after retirement returned to Dayton in 2004.While in New York in met and married Ms. Christine Moss and they were married in 1968.Together they raised two children:Tony and Tawana.

He worked as a security guard and retired after 31 years of service from the Department of Public Works in Mt. Vernon, New York.

He was known for roller skating, basketball playing, horseshoes, action movies, and all kinds of music.

In his younger days before leaving Dayton, he was a member of Phillips Temple and since his return he affiliated with Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church.

His mother and foster mother Mrs. Rose Ragland and a niece; Ms. Brenda Newell have preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish precious memories; his devoted wife of nearly 51 years, Christine.Son:Tony (Barbara) Watts.Daughter:Tawana Watts.Five grandchildren:Christopher Watts, San Francisco, Calif., Ricardo Mosby, New Rochelle, N.Y., Darius Watts, Arizona, Jade and Asya, N.Y.Brother-in-law: Arthur (Dorothy) Moss, Henderson, N.C., Aunt:Lula Jefferson, Quincy, Mass., Foster sister and niece: Katherine and Joyce Gregory.Special friends:Franklin Woods, John Byrd, Fred Brown, Fred Bullock, Paul Spinner and Albert Foster.Other nieces, relatives, friends and church family.

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Paul Watts 78 years old , born on January 25, 1941 and passed away on August 25, 2019. We will remember him forever.
