Fwd: Notification of the passing of Dr. Paul Malarik Jr.'s father in NYC & request for Bereavement Leave May 13-15, 2014

  Hello,    I regret to say, here is the current status as of now (see email above). Besides my wife & I dealing with the grief & I have to help arrange the major logistics via internet or phone since my immediate NYC family is not coping well, and have made little to no pre-arrangements. Somehow I seemed to know that this would happen today (& was awake all night) & I happened to call the Hospice almost just as they discovered that he passed.            For these reasons I request Bereavement leave for Tuesday May 13 thru Thursday May 15th & should be back at work this Friday, May 16th. We will not be traveling to NYC, but will hold our own personal service here, or in the Bay Area with my in-laws.  Things are rather up in the air at this time.            I will keep you up to date, as I have been.
