A light has been lost in all of our lives. Paulina could make the most mundane event absolutely fun and full of life. She was herself just a spirited and loving human being. We all loved her so much and miss her greatly. We send our love to the whole family.

What can you say about Paulina. Her laugh and sense of humor was epic! My kids loved going to Dr. Hogan's office just to see her. I’ll never forget when she left me in the x ray room with a lead vest on over my shoulders during a panoramic mouth x ray. While the machine started rotating around my head the shoulder on the lead vest got caught and started wrapping around my neck. Paulina came back into the room during the event and started laughing while my head was getting twisted off…I had to motion to her to hit the stop button while choking out!! She hit the button, thank goodness, but she didn't stop laughing-- even while she helped me unwrap the vest from my neck. Then she asked, "You want to try that again?"

An amazing lady with a great attitude that will be missed by many. Extremely blessed to have known her.

Paulina was simply the best. She lived life to the fullest. She laughed the hardest (and loudest). Paulina always made me feel special. She raised the best family. I loved her like a second mother and will miss her very much.

What can I say? I have lost my Sweet Paulina, my dearest friend!! We have been "best friends" since the 7th. grade at St. Monica's School. We both made many trips back and forth from Seattle to L. A. and many times bringing our kids. We have been one big family and my heart is broken. She has the best kids in the world and they took such good care of her the last few years. I am so grateful for that.

Sorry I can't come for the funeral, but my thoughts will be will you.

There will never be anyone else like you Mom. You made me what I am today. You tackled life fearlessly (I still remember your heroic one-handed effort riding a camel in Saudi with your broken arm in a cast) and with a carefree spirit filled with laughter.
I miss you so, so, so much.

I can't believe our beloved Aunt Paulina has passed on. We all have many wonderful memories of her infectious laugh and love of a good time, but it leaves a big hole in our hearts to not have her with us anymore. She was a wonderful mother and aunt and I will miss her always. I know she's in a better place and reunited with her family and friends who've also passed on. In fact, I'm sure she's already giving my Dad her opinion about something. BTW Jonn, My Way is the perfect song for your mom - it so describes the way she lived her life.

I really don't remember Aunt Pauline but what I do is that my mom, Terry Beard Grismer made some of us kids go on along trip from Minnesota to Oregon to meet relatives. Since most of us were teens and tweens, you can imagine that it was an interesting drive. What I do remember is that when we did visit Pauline and family wew were greeted with great warmth, open arms and great food. This only happens when mom's lead the way. I am so sorry for you loss but she is now in Gods loving hands.

We first met Paulina in Saudi Arabia. She had such a contagious laugh. We enjoyed her so much.  We then met her again when visiting Celeste in Seattle with our son, Andrew. Paulina was very interested with the duct tape wallet Andrew had made and thrilled when he gave it to her!  A fun lady who enjoyed life to the fullest!
Her loving children have been so devoted and loyal to her. She leaves a wonderful family to continue her beauty in this world.
