Ms. Pauline Wilson Cotton, 74, of West Point, Georgia, died Jan 14, 2012, at West Georgia Hospice from kidney and heart failure.
Pauline was born June 26, 1937, in West Point, Georgia, to the late Lois Graham and Haywood Wilson.
Her greatest joys were her family, friends and her job. Pauline touched the lives of many people with her wit and generosity. She devoted much of her time helping others. Pauline spent the last few years of her life at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab Center, where she provided plenty of laughs and joy to residents and staff. While fighting an uphill battle with her own illnesses, she continued her passion for helping people by assisting other patients whenever she could.

Pauline accepted Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age and joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, West Point, GA.
She was united into Holy Matrimony with the late Jessie Cotton Jr.
Pauline Cotton was preceded in death by her Mother-in-law Willie Lee Cotton; Step father L. C. Graham; two brothers Leroy Heard and Johnny Wilson; sister, Clara Penn; companion David Askew; her beloved pet dog, Mikey.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two sons, Jesse(Helga) Cotton, Sharpsburg, GA; Tolando Hurston, Riverdale, GA; one daughter, Marion Cotton, Riverdale, GA; two grandsons, Lamont Cotton, Wurmlingen, Germany; Michael Cotton, Sharpsburg, GA ; two nieces that she help raise and treated as daughters, Denise(Arthur) Rowe, Lanett, AL; Nina Cotton, Riverdale,GA; three brothers, Roger Thornhill, West Point, GA; Donald(Janet) Cotton, Decatur, GA; Tony(Marilyn H.) Wilson, LaGrange, GA; four sisters, Christine Wilson, Elizabeth Berry, Lily Mae (William) Cooper, West Point; GA; two devoted cousins, Gladys Houston, West Point, GA and Kane William, Macon GA; four dear friends, Katharine Whitlow, Lanett, AL; Viola Whittaker, Ruby Askew, West Point, GA and Carlton Joe Frazier, Stone Mountain, GA; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The family may be contact @ 1902 32nd Ave., SW, Lanett, AL.

 

Funeral at: Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Time: 1:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2012

Interment:
Union Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery    West Point GA.

I would to express my deepest sympathy with your on the loss, I would just like to share this thought with the family of Pauline that one day soon we can expect our love ones again according to the Scripture found @ John 528&29. Please take comfort in that promise.
