Her name when she passed was Pauline Hendrickson (second husband's last name.) She was born Eigell, and her first husband, who fathered her children, was Baker.  She was born in North Dakota in 1918 and both her parents died in the flu epidemic, and when she was 3 months old she was brought to live on the reservation in Chitek Lake, Saskatchewan. She returned to the U.S., married John (Johann) Baker, and had 3 children, Meta, John (Jack), and Penny. She retired as Postmistress of Liberty Lake, Washington. After retiring, she traveled the world, married Doug Hendrickson, and settled in Mesa, Arizona. Then she lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, to be close to Meta (my mom) and me (Erin), and then in San Antonio, Texas, to be close to Penny and her three daughters and their families.
