Pauline Theis (nee Ciko), 86 years old of West Deptford, NJ passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on August 23, 2021.
Born in Philadelphia to the late Steven and Sophie Ciko. She worked in banking and at the family diner. She was married to the late Thomas D. Theis, Sr. for 55 years. They settled in West Deptford where they raised their family. Pauline is survived by her children, Steven (Mary) of Ocean City, NJ, Thomas D. Jr. (Deborah) of Summerlin, NV and Suzanne Nahas (Michael) of West Deptford, NJ; her grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Michael, Christopher, Taylor and Nicholas; a great grandson, Cole and her brother and sister, Frank (Barbara) Ciko and Jeanie (Ernie) Pescatore.
Family and friends are invited to attend Pauline’s visitation 10-11 am on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Infant Jesus Parish, St. Margaret’s Church 845 Third Street, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097 followed by Mass at 11 am. Burial will follow at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown, NJ.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made on behalf of Pauline to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
