All my friends knew this car as "The Bomb" but we as a family knew it as the "Polish Mercedes".  This was MOMs car... driving all the kids around town with a red license plate frame letting the drivers know to get out of the way.  Mom and I would adventure out in the stationwagon whether it be for groceries, shopping at Macy's, visiting friends and/or eating out. I called mom "Mrs. Mario Andretti" the way she would drive around the corners...Whoaaaa! Hang on for dear life!  Always had good times with mom and driving her around once I got my driver's licenses. Everyone knew the blue bomb...memories to cherish and remember.
