Pearl was a dear friend and will forever be remembered in my heart. It always amazed me how much energy she had. I don't know anyone else who lived as adventurously and openheartedly as she did. Pearl, you are already missed...My condolences and sympathy to her family and closest friends. I hope she already reunited with her son.

                 By love we are remembered,
                    and in memory we live.

John 14:18 “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”

Pearl faced a battle with cancer and had many challenges in her life. But she did it her way. She traveled all over the world and made friends wherever she went, sharing her love and spirit. Her son Kalani and her grandchildren Kamai and Ganon meant the world to her. She will be missed.

Mahalo. Our loved ones are a gift to us. Their presence a blessing when they are on this earth. After they have gone, we mourn…and then we celebrate the life they lived, the love they shared, the difference they made and for having them in our lives. On the journey home, Pearl wanted to share and celebrate life. May we find comfort in the warm and loving thoughts and to know our loved one, our friend, is now at peace.

Jeremiah 29:11“For I know the plans I have for you,”declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you…plans to give you hope.”

Somewhere, a journey begins at the end of the worldly existence we know. Somewhere, a path stretches over the stars where rivers of memories flow. We are reminded that here smile will not be forgotten, as her stories shared time and time again will be continued to be told. Love is treasured forever.

The very same God who made you, loves you with all the tenderness and compassion. May He continue to bless you with all the good things you deserve. May you always believe in your special gifts and share them with those around you. Anyone can see that what you do makes a wonderful difference.

Not everyone can do what you do. Celebrate the special person that you are and how much you mean to everyone. Celebrate the possibilities and the dreams, the new adventures and the time for your favorite things. For every smile that you give away, may they be returned tenfold to you. It is your time to give back. To share your wisdom and knowledge with those who are waiting to learn. For all the days that you have brightened, may your skies be clear and blue. Celebrate who you are.

Life is a journey of sweetness and sorrow.
Of yesterday’s memories and hopes for tomorrow.
Of pathways we choose and detours we face
With patience and humor, courage and grace.
Of joys that we’ve shared and of people we’ve met
Who have touched us in ways we will never forget.

            Me kealoha pumehana Pearl…blessed journey!

Lovely photo of Pearl. I recall the first time meeting Pearl - how full of energy & personality. Good traits in my opinion. So happy that she had a good support system throughout - I am sure she felt the love from all. With deepest sympathy.
