Pearl was born in New Orleans on February 1,1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip J. Mauroner and Ethel B. Mauroner ,and her husband Curtis L Cox Jr.

Pearl is survived by her 3 children, Ruth Harmon ( Michael), Barbara Broom ( William) and Clayton Cox. Pearl had 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Ms. Pearl retired from South Central Bell and lived the last 37 years in Abita Springs La.

I am so sorry to hear that Pearl has passed away . Pearl was my friend and neighbor for more than thirty years !! We also shared the same birth date of February 1st ...One year Pearl bought US a king cake and we talked over coffee and that sweet delight . Each year we greeted one another with , "" HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! and the other responded with , "" HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU TOO "" !! Also , we enjoyed the lengthy 'over the fence talks' ! Those were the good days ! So my friend , until we talk again in Heaven ...Rest in peace !!!
