Biography of Mr Peter Buma Ajong

Ba Ajong Peter was born on March 5th 1954.He was born of Mr Ajong Massina Sampson and Frida Ajong.(All of Blessed Memory) and He was the second child and First son of a polygamous family of 8.He did his primary Education in the Roman Catholic Mission school Bali Nyonga and was later transfered to Bota where his Dad was working at the CDC Head Office,he proceeded with his secondary Education in NVKV Bamenda and lateron completed in VOCAST MUYUKA.After all this qualifications he started with a little shop as a business man and later got a job with the then National Produce Marketing Board.He then got married to his Lovely Wife Francisca Kuna Ajong (Blessed Memory). In this Union they where blessed with 4 children.After Marketing Board was shut down.He went ahead to study in Ghana were he obtained his training as a Seaman. He got a job with R & B shipping LTD,where he was recruited as a Seaman. He worked with them for a long time sailing all over Africa,ASIA,Europe and The Americas. until when his contract ended with them. From this time life changed on him and his family. As vibrant,hard working,brilliant and simple as he was he could do the meanest of all jobs just to keep himself active and busy.Until his dead he was working in collaboration with the Limbe District hospital as the team leader for the team sentout for the campaign against Polio and Malaria.
Dad has always had his culture as his backbone.For this he served as the President of the Bali Nyonga Manjong Meeting Middle Farm,Limeb and also worked towards the growth of the Bali Nyonga Culture as he promoted the Bali Nyonga Nwanji Masquerade Dance group with a host of others. He took his time to participate in every activity that was organised by his tribes people and other tirbes too..
To his Family he was nothing more than a loving GrandFather,Father,Uncle & brother,always smiling to make you smile even in difficult moments.
He has always lived a healthy life as one seldom hear him complain of any serious illness until last year august when he started complaining he is'nt feeling fine. This became intense around November where he was rushed to Dr Forgwe and later to The Reference Hospital in Douala for better treatment.It's in the Reference Hospital where he got better care for all this time after been rushed to many other hospitals around Bamenda and Limbe,until he was fine and was discharged.He didn't live to see another month after he was discharged from the Ref Hospital. But Death as a trickster played its roled and God alone knows our time in the palm of his hands. Ba Ajong is gone. You are where there is no Pain and Sorrow,No cry an get to you and No pain shall u feel again. Go and Rest in the Bossom of the Lord. The Lord alone is the End of the Road.
Ba Ajong Peter Leaves behind his 4 children and 6 grand children.His Brothers and sisters,cousins,niece and nephews,the entire Bali community to mourn for him.
Daddy May Your Soul Rest in the Bosom of the Lord.
