I remember my grandparents took me on an Alaskan cruise when I was 8 years old. I had a really great time. I have so many memories of that vacation but there is one that sticks out in my mind so much more than any other, maybe more than most memories I have of him at all. He had promised to teach me to dance and I was so excited. Well, I said something that hurt his feelings and he told my grandmother that he wasn't going to teach me. Mimi told him he needed to stick to his word and he did. I was in a gray dress with a pink sash and he was in his tux....he taught me how to dance and I thought I was on top of the world!
