Peter had the most amazing Doctor support over his long health struggles.  The most special was his gastroenterololgist, his medical tech. and his scheduler.
I would like to quote from the sympathy card they sent me after Peter's passing.

From the Doctor
"I am so sorry for your loss.  Peter was such a wonderful man and one of my favorite patients.  Every time I see a crossword puzzle, I will always think of Peter.  His visits always brought joy to my busy days.  I will forever remember Peter with fondest memories and consider myself privileged to have been his doctor. "

From Jane- the medical tech.
"There are no words to tell you how sorry I am for your loss.  Everytime you came in it made my day so much better.  He was my favorite patient of all times.  Please stay in touch."

From Kathy, our scheduler
"It always brought a smile to my face when I saw Peter's name on the schedule.  I loved his sence of humor.  I always enjoyed talking with both of you.  May God bless and keep your family.  You are in my prayers."

When Will and I first moved to Colorado, we stayed with Will's mom, Peg, and her husband Peter.  I was able to secure a job within the first week...it took Will a couple of more weeks to secure his job.  One day, I returned home from work, and Peter said, "You know, Will and I are the envy of the neighborhood.  We get up, send our women to work, and go back to sleep."  He pauses, and states, "Everyone wants to know how we did it."  He looks at Will and smirks.  Peter's eyes twinkle in complete amusement.  And then the discussion began.....
