This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, PFC. Ralph Blackerby, 20 years old, born on May 1, 1947, and passed away on May 23, 1967. We will remember him forever.
God's blessings on this 50th anniversary of your passing from this realm into the caring arms of Jesus. I think of our fun times in High School often. I'm 70 years old now. I will see you soon old friend!
Wally was my best friend in high school in Marion, Indiana. A bright thoughtful guy. He was full of energy and always humorous. He was excited by foreign sports cars. I've thought of him often over the last 50 years. What a loss to the world. God save us from despots who would send our best to die in meaningless wars. You are missed old friend. Rest in God's comforting arms. RIP
I'm so sad I never got the chance to meet you. Thank you for your service in Vietnam Uncle Wally. Served three tours, one to many. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. This is a promise. Your life meant something and I will honor you until the day I pass myself. Take good care of Na Na for us. I would have loved to see the reunion of you and her. Until we meet in heaven know that I love you without ever meeting. RIP
