|Let the memory of Philip be with us forever|
"Still remembered and missed deeply,
The Larson Family"
We were building a beautiful life when things began to fall apart. You are always in my heart - You are the love of my life and I am so grateful that, even for a short while we were together. There is not one day that passes that you are not in my thoughts. Love Always, Your Mary-Ann"
"I miss you Phil !"
"My Love, it is one year since you left me alone, no words can explain how much I miss you, you will stay in my heart for as long as I live.
"Phil was the greatest needle artist in the world.
One of the ones I recall, was when in a game of Gin of 150 points. He beat me 150 to 15. After the game and after my paying him whatever the amount
was, he said to me, " YOU DID PRETTY GOOD, YOU GOT 15 POINTS."
One of my favorite memories " I miss you Phil."
"Hi Phil, Can't believe it has been almost a year since you left us for
the most "special place". Rest well, dear friend. We love you and
miss you. Dooms & Shirl"
"There is not a moment that goes by that I din't think of our life together and how very much I miss you. What wonderful times we all had together, what a wonderful family re created together. You are the love of my life, sharing you is what life is all about. You are always present. Love Always, Mary-Ann"
"You are forever in my heart - your influence touches everything I do - You are the love of my life, the essence of every part of my existence. You had a generosity of spirit that touches everyone. A very special place in my heart - How very fortunate we all are to have had you in our life for the all too short amount of time you were allotted in this life. love, Mary-Ann"
"We want to thank everyone who was able to come to our father's memorial yesterday, and everyone who shared memories of our Dad even though they couldn't be there. All of you were an important part of our dad's life, and we know he would have loved being there to not only hear the stories, but add his own, and enjoy everyone's company. We will miss him, but will hold our memories dear."
"Phil, or Mr. Hill as I remember you, you were always smiling. A great and welcoming quality. You also, by sharing your Raiders tickets, inspired my love of football. Thanks for your wonderful smile and your generous nature. Peace and go Raiders!"
"We shared many experiences over the decades: beginning as classmates in sunday school, Piedmont High and as fraternity brothers commuting daily for 4 years to UC Berkeley. At my wedding, Phil was a groomsman. Later, there were countless games of chance and rounds of golf laced with his characteristic needles.I was enriched to be Phil's friend and will cherish those memories."
"Phil, I admire you courage, and will miss your wonderful sense of
humor. I have known you almost as long as Bob!! We will miss you
very much. Rest peacefully!! With love, Shirl"
"Phil, we were friends for so many years, I miss the golf, shoe shows,
gin, and your famous "needle". I once told you I had lost 20 lbs, and
you said"an elephant can lose a ton and you can't tell the difference-
"The entire Larson family grieves the passing of our Uncle Phil. We will miss him. Phil shared our lives for over 50 years. He was Best Man, Brother-in-Law,Uncle and Great Uncle. Most importantly, he was our Friend. We will miss his abundant humor and love of others. The man has passed, but his memory remains. Barbara & Ron and all the Larson Family."
I am so glad we had the chance to meet. You were such a wonderful and loving dad to Allison, I will always thank the Lord for you. You are and always will be greatly missed. Thankyou, Pat Grant"
We shared 29years together in our marriage. Oh, how I miss you now that you left me behind. Your love, your kindness, your wonderful sense of humor.
Till we meet again.....your loving wife Helga"
""I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." Leo Buscaglia
Love to your family, Mary Beth"
"Privileged to have had Phil as family in law member. Remember his good looks and personality and warmth to all of us. Taught janel some great gin playing moves along with being a wonderful and loving dad."
"The world just lost a great person, but heaven gained another angel. It was a pleasure taking care of you. Thank you for sharing all the sense of humor you had, with me and my sister. You will forever be remembered."
"We will have a memorial gathering for our dad at his house in Pinole on Saturday, December 15th at 2pm. For more information please call 505.463.5164 or 510.547.3750"
My biological father died in the war when I was too young to really experience the dad/son relationship. I'm very happy to have had that relationship with you. I treasure all the memories, from your paper route delivery with me when I was sick to our last conversation this year!"
You were the love of my life. We shared many lovely moments and some angry moments but there was always love. What a beautiful family we have which does extend to include Helga - your lovely wife #2.Your family always came first and we did not want for anything - except for a bit more of your time. Lovingly,Mary- Ann"
