Today, September 6, 2017, my Father was laid to rest at Saint Charles Resurrection Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY with my Mother, Norma June Gerace.  We love you and Mom and will forever keep you both in our daily prayers.

This memorial website was created in memory of our dear Father, Philip Gerace Jr., 86, born on February 28, 1931 and passed away on March 26, 2017. We will remember him forever.

My Father was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 28, 1931.  He proudly served in the Korean War and upon his discharge, he proposed to my Mother, Norma June Melton.  In 1962, he relocated his Family to New York and raised his four children, Carol Gerace, Philip Gerace III (aka Phil Valentine),  Kathleen Gerace and William (Bill) Gerace in Merrick, Long Island.
He was blessed with three grandchildren; in his attached photo, he is holding his only granddaughter, Sabrina June; her brother, Nicholas Charles, arrived shortly thereafter. 
He is remembered by his only surviving sibling, his brother Pat in Chicago; his niece (Rosemary) and grand nephrews (Rob and Danny DeMarco) in Chandler, Arizona; his nephrews (Charles Lucas) in Chicago; his grand nieces and nephrews in Chicago; and his niece Toni in Nashville.  
Upon my Mother's death in February 1994, my Father relocated back to Arizona until his death on March 26, 2017.
