His Life
November 25, 2015

Mr. Woodall was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 7, 1939, the son of the late Rosalind Geneva Allen Woodall and Henry Sherman Woodall. He was a Christian by faith. During his working career he worked as a mechanic for several different companies, the last being Lend Leasing Trucking Company. He loved to travel, and he and his family especially enjoyed camping. It was especially fun to him when they were able to locate some place he could cast his rod in a local fishing spot. When he was a young man he built race cars, and actually participated in the fore runner races of the Daytona raceway when they were held on the beach. He was a talented musician who enjoyed entertaining all who would listen with his lovely voice and gifted fingers. After his wife became ill he devoted himself to her care. Making her last days as pleasant as possible was his greatest desire. He was a loving father and doting grandfather to four grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by two sons, Randy and Phillip Woodall; four step-children, Lisa Couch, Lisa Tabler, Michael Lee, and Monica Haynes; two brothers, Henry and Andy Woodall; two sisters, Janice Peek and Sandra Fagas; four adoring grandchildren; a many devoted nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine Newborne Woodall, and two brothers, Sherlin and Raymond Woodall.
