I'm sorry I wasn't given the opportunity to have you serve me or to have met you in general. From all accounts; you must of been a great guy and loved being a bartender.
I suppose you're in Heaven serving up all the drinks at Heaven's local watering hole. I'll have a Screwdriver when I make my way there someday.  --> REST IN PEACE <--

I very sadly and shockingly found out after Googling Phil this morning following a dream about him. We had a wonderful trip to Paris together some years ago and after leaving London, I never heard from him again. Does anyone know how to reach his mother? We had known each other from when he worked at the Video store on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles. I just can't believe this.

Oh Phil, another day yet to miss you on. May all the Angels around you praise you with a beautiful Happy Birthday song today and always. You are home and safe, and I know smiling ear to ear like a kid with one hand in a cookie jar... when he's caught. Miss you gentleness and Great Spirit. Happy 36 Phil. You are SO MISSED, and LOVED here on earth every day! Blessings be always with you.

I'm sorry this is late, Phil. I didn't forget, but I'm in Scotland for work and I barely have time to eat much less anything personal. I just wanted you to know that I miss you so very much. You will always be the same wonderful person that I met 8 years ago. I'll prolly see you sooner than later so save me a beer. ;-)

No one can light up the room with a smile and spirit as bright as yours. May your family have peace and joy in remembering your beautiful soul during this Happy and yet tempered season. You always got on my nerves asking for your favorite songs to be played but I loved you anyway, I would play anything you wanted now, well maybe. In al seriousness, Phil was a great guy and I really enjoyed working with him, I see the DVDs he made for me to play everyone once in a while and it reminds me of his passion for music, something we shared. Dolly, Diana and PCD were his favorite

Phil, words cannot describe how I feel for you. I honor you in my heart everyday.  You certainly had an effect on so many people. Your smile was one of a kind.  You loved life always and with every opportunity you treated people with love and kindness. It is so unfortunate that you were taken from us. For the rest of my life and always you will remain in my thoughts and in my heart.

Phil, from all these messages as a testament to your loving spirit, it is clear you were truly blessed in this life. While in Knoxville, I saw you from time to time, always friendly, smiling and kind. I pray that God pulled you out as quickly as only His mighty hand could. I was shocked and saddened by our loss. God Bless you, and we will see you again.
Posted by John Chappell on November 23, 2011
Your spirit truly shined through your eyes, and you brightened the lives of all who knew you. As you have now passed from this troublesome world, you know it is now us who need the prayers..as you are now in His midst.

~The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18

Even though I only knew you for a short time while you were in Knoxville. You have left the utmost impression with me then anyone I have ever known. An I hope that someday I have that opportunity to say Thank You and I hope that someday I can just be just as good as a great man as you were. R.I.P. My Friend

darling phil....one night i was in the garage and an ex of mine was there too and was very cold to me.u sat down next to me and chatted me up till i smiled.ill NEVER forget that and each time i came in there and u smiled and made the best long island ice tea
i ever had!!!

I never met Phil Wells but I have visited The Garage with Las Vegas based friends during a recent vacation. It felt so surreal to hear from them that a gay bar I'd spent some time at was the scene of this totally reprehensible act. My best wishes from Australia to everyone touched by this tragedy.

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We'd express all our unspoken love;
We'd have countless things to say.

If we could bring you back again,
We'd say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.

If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You'd know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
