Phyllis Wainwright, a long-time resident on her farm in Creedmoor, NC, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday the 21st of November.

She was born in 1930 in Red Banks, NJ. Her parents were Philip, Sr. and Adelaide Wainwright. Phyllis is a licensed engineer having degrees from Northeastern University. She worked as an engineer for the State of North Carolina. In a career shift, she founded and was the President of Ahera Maintenance Inc. She volunteered for years at Rex Hospital. Phyllis loved her farm, her dogs, and painting and was happiest when on tractor or working with her hands. She traveled the world.

Phyllis is survived by her son Philip Wainwright III and her grandchildren Annie Wainwright and Philip Wainwright IV. Memorial gifts may be made to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.

The funeral will be held graveside on Friday November 27th at 2:00pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
