Oh how she loved those grandbabies. Aléx and Belle brought such immense joy to my mother's life.  She lit up whenever they were around her, even when she wasn't feeling well, she would just smile to hear their voices.  She took every opportunity to spend time with them, teaching, reading, laughing.  

Isabella read stories to "Gramma P" every night before she died.  They kissed her goodbye before school, went straight to find her when they came home. They had a beautiful special connection, a love like no other.
