Pierre was a mentor/brother/friend to me throughout my life since the age of 15. My first marching instructor then teaching Phoenix color guard with him. Never both so proud! I will miss Pierre's wisdom and joie de vivre. He had that in spades. May you rise from the ashes like the great Phoenix you are everytime i think of you. You will be truly missed my friend.

My dear friend Pierre "Peter". I will miss your smile; I will miss your wit; I will miss your calm nature; I will miss you. Time and geography may have separated us but my thoughts of us teaching, dreaming and having fun are what I will remember most. You have touched my life forever.

Pierre...the rock...a wall of silence and strenght...with sparkles and stars in your eyes... lover of music...lover of life....born the little professor with your dark hair sticking up like Einstein's mop...the adventurer, always wearing scuff knees and forever scaring your mother with your cuts and bruises...how many times did she have to take you to the hospital....beloved second born.

To Danielle, who I have never had the chance to meet. Pierre was a good friend who I had lost touch with over the years. I was unaware that he was out on the West Coast. Last I saw Pierre was judging with him at a contest in Quebec, or maybe it was Ontario. Of all the people I have known over the years, he seemed to have changed the least. I will miss him. My thoughts go with you.

I am sending this note with my condolences on hearing the news that Pierre, has passed away.
Pierre was a judge when I was teaching a drum and bugle corps in the 1990's and he also served as one of the judges I assigned during my role as Judge Administrator for DCI in the late 90's and also in a similar role for DCI's Open Class early in the 2000's.
I found Pierre to be an astute observer and an important part of the judging community during all three of those periods. His contribution to the corps was significant and his professional demeanor was exemplary.
I wish you and your family peace and comfort in this difficult time. I will say a few prayers for Pierre and keep him in my thoughts.

John Turner.
